Sick track

I'd say just make the bass deeper. Nice wobbling but you really need that bass to come out more. Overall I really liked this track though man. Nothing much more I could say other than tweaking the percussion samples you had to something more powerful or something 'bigger'. You want those to also stand out as much as possible. I'd recommend EQing every single instrument separately.

Great stuff man.

Great points man, thanks for letting mee know! =) Eye'll see what eye can do about that bass, perhaps adding a sine sub or something; you see, it's difficult for mee to get that mastering perfect on my laptop, because the signal either comes through mie laptop speakers or mie headphones. If eye put it on mie desktop speakers, however, there will be a difference, and eye can adjust it properly. Also, on the percussion: You're totally correct. This isn't typical percussion for dubstep at all, and the drum software eye'm using makes it more difficult to master all the instruments separately (although it can be done). What eye wanted to try doing was adding real drum samples with electronic ones, and the blend works well, but it just needs more power. So, essentially, all the drum samples are mastered separately but, in final, together (picture a mixing board for a mixing board, if that makes any sense =P). Eye'll see what eye can do for the final project on getting that "huge" sound; hopefully this is a close shot though!

Oh yes, and also thank you for the review before it got 0-bombed to hell (alas, mie warning means nothing!). Eye'll make sure to let ya know when the final product comes out! =)

nice

I get this Mike Shinoda vibe from hearing your rapping. Real good stuff man. Very fresh. I really like it. Has a slight RnB feel but overall, its' a really good track. Keep it up guys.

Great job man. Start keeping me posted on your stuff. Maybe we'll be able to work together now that i'm a hiphop cat. Seriously, this track is just beastly. The flow is on cue. The beat just hits perfectly. Not too soft, but really heavy enough to keep you listening. Very oldschoolish vibe that I love. AH! That sampled hook? Killer man! Instantly gives me this 'Hustle And Flow' nostalgic moment and reminds me of the scenes where they're making the beats.

Seriously, this is amazing. Every little effect, like the overlays and doubling of your voice. It really compliments this track nicely. Keep me posted on future track releases. This is ill.

Nice man!

Yeah man, it's those instruments. One of the first things I've noticed in Hip-Hop production is that it doesn't matter if you have the best melody in the world. Until you have top notch sounds, the track will sound mushy and awkward.

Your piano sounds like it's a stock sound. Hook yourself up with a soundfont piano, specifically a Steinway. Also, try using some VSTs for your synth sounds; even the orchestrated ones like your strings. Look into VSTs like Z3ta+ and Native Instrument's Massive which both offer amazing wave-shaping abilities. This will give you an edge on your synth sounds.

For percussion try looking into Big Fish Audio or even look up some of your favorite producer's kits. They're bound to have one out there. These kits are great and offer high quality sounds that cover every sound range and really make a track sound professional.

Like I said man, This is a really good track and has lots of potential. It's just a matter of changing up the sounds. I've been there. I'm going through it now. I'm just learning which sounds work and which don't.

Keep it up.

Thanks for reviewing and especially for the insight and advice.

Nice guys

Amazing job guys. I was really impressed. I just felt that the vocals were a bit dry for the track. If you EQd them a bit, Beef them up, they'd stand out more and fill the song up even more. Again, great job. I'm going to expect more great things from you guys.

KeepingOnPoint responds:

Thanks I'll keep that in mind when we finish the vocals.

Sweet

Thanks for the review man. The inspiration came from the singing so that's why this song even happened. Stay up and keep working on your beats.
